Where your mind is without fear,
Where your knowledge roams free;
Where words come out from the depths of truth;
Where you find your refuge
With my parts, you are comforted,
With my help, you can breathe.
Many are without the chance to have me
Don’t take me for granted.
I look at God all day and lift my arm to pray.
My hungry mouth is pressed against the earth’s sweet flowing breast.
For you, I stand tall mostly solemn, lonely,
So do me a favor, too.
I reach out to you with love that I share;
I am here to embrace you with my branches of tenderness;
I rose due to your ancestors,
So tend to me with care.
